| and santa clause has got a big fat....what?....no, surely not...... |
[19 Dec 2006|04:00pm] |
Ho Ho Ho, Merry Xmas!
yes, that was the general theme of the xmas party - our last! - thanks to all who came down and made it such a great night right from the beginning, and apologies if you were one of the many people unable to get in, we reached capacity very early on. thanks also to liam, the 'mulled wine wizard' who prepared and road tested the steaming brew of wine, brandy, spices and we shudder to think what else that had the first few hundred of you glowing all rosy, like. it was a fine festive tipple that really put the jingle in our bells and the santa up our chimney. also glad to see so many of you making good use of the mistletoe, carrying branches around and getting it on with all and sundry like the yuletide lip sluts you are. mwah.
pictures of last night are up on the amazing www.dirtydirtydancing.com site now, check 'em out!
now, seeing as we'll be heading into the days when all sense of accurate time keeping gets thrown out the window, a timely reminder of the schedule for the last few trash happenings. on WEDNESDAY the 27th it's the last trash of 2006, on at the end, exactly as normal, but on a WEDNESDAY. that's the day after boxing day, if your calender is the 'special' edition of radio times. then on the 5th of january, which is a FRIDAY, it's our legendary mailing list party. as always this is a strictly invite only affair, invites will be going out in the shake of a pigs winky, so keep your eyes on your inbox. obviously you need to be on the mailing list to recieve an invite, so get on it now! if you're unlucky and don't get on the list for the party, please don't turn up on the night and try and blag it, it won't work.
and finally, and sadly we do mean finally, the last ever trash, our 10th birthday, is on the 8th of January. and there's not much else you can say about that.
our new, and again, final, flyer is out and about now - featuring mr lou reed tipping his bowler to you all and saying 'hats off' to everyone who's ever stumbled through our doors. find them in shops and at gigs over the coming weeks.
ok, that my friends, is it for this week, merry xmas one and all,
trash xx

| YES, EVERYTHING YOU'VE HEARD IS TRUE.... |
[12 Dec 2006|03:06pm] |
hello everybody,
firstly we'd like to say thanks to nadia ksaiba who dj'ed in the lounge last night in lieu of globetrotting rory - nadia, thanks! and of course, thankyou to all the splendidly attired and energetic people who came down and made last night quite a party indeed!
now, some actual, proper, meanigful news (for once!): as some of you may have heard already, our 10th birthday party on the 8th of january will be THE LAST EVER TRASH. ever. yes, that's right, trash will be closing it's doors for good in the new year, having spanned a whole decade of dancing and debauchery. this means that there are only three trashes left - our xmas party next week on the 18th, trash on *wednesday* 27th to make up for xmas falling on a monday, and the final night on 8th january, so please make sure you make space in your diaries for these.....
hmmm. after that there's not much to say really - we will be holding our annual mailing list party on the 5th january, this is invite only, and invites will be sent out soon. you need to be on the mailing list to recieve one, you can join via the website or myspace pages.
our final flyer will be in circulation soon, with details of all the end of year hoopla, so keep your eyes peeled for that...
www.trashclub.co.uk still carries all you need to know about the club, as well as our fantastic archive of live performances, interviews, pictures, podcasts and more, with a video of our last live guests, brakes, to arrive shortly......
ok that's it for now,

| ALL YOUR XMAS / NY/ BIRTHDAY TRASH INFO!!! |
[05 Dec 2006|02:11pm] |
hello, hope everybody had fun last night, we extend our thanks to skull juice and ronnie danzig for their guest dj sets last night, fine records were spun the night long! for those of you wondering where rory and jonjo have got themselves to , the answer is that great and nebulous region known as 'abroad', and they will be returning soon! next week we will have nadia ksaiba djing in the lounge, so please turn up early to catch her set - she'll be on from 10.30pm.
some of you may have seen the posters for the xmas party around last night, thanks to marie harimoto for another excellent design! the xmas party is nearly upon us, ocurring, as it does, on the 18th december, and featuring, as it will, mistletoe and our special 'punch' (or 'off licence in a bucket' as it has been described).
and then it's xmas day, so no trash on the 25th. fairly obviously.
BUT, as we have been trying to cement in your brains, there will be trash on WEDNESDAY 27th so pencil that in to your diaries.
the 1st of jan is also out the window, there is no trash on new years day - face it there ain't much of anything on new years day except for confusion and regret.....
Jan 5th sees a slightly delayed but no less fantastic mailing list party! yeah! now as per usual, this is a strictly invite only event, and you need to be on the mailing list to stand a chance of getting in. so join if you haven't already. invites will be sent out very shortly!
Jan 8th (and not the 7th as it says in other places) will be our 10th birthday party, where we will be celebrating our entry into double figures and a decade of trash!
as always, for more info on anything trash please visit www.trashclub.co.uk or www.myspace.com/trashclub.
ok peeps toodle oo

| franzy a dance?..... |
[28 Nov 2006|03:25pm] |
hello all, we'll kick off in the traditional manner by saying thankyou very much to mr paul thomson of franz ferdinand who djed for us last night - paul , thanks. and continuing in the same vein as all the other blogs, thanks to everyone who came down, we couldn't do it without you. but there is a dearth of anecdotes this week, no crazy shenanigans to report, so please try harder to make a spectacle of yourselves in future, and then the blogs will be more interesting....
next week we welcome ronnie danzig to the decks in the lounge, she will be playing from 10.30pm so make sure you turn up early to catch her set! the week after that nadia ksaiba is our guest dj, again, turn up early as she will be playing from 10.30pm! and the week after that it's our xmas party - where we will be spreading the xmas vibes, dangling mistletoe and serving mulled wine, and promoting a spirit of seasonal gaiety and fun.....lovely.......
then it's xmas itself. and this year it and new years day fall on a monday, so there is no trash. boo. but, yay! for we have arranged for trash to occur on WEDNESDAY 27TH december instead, to kind of compensate for the fortnight's hiatus.
and into 2007: the trash 10th birthday party on the 7th Jan!
of course www.trashclub.co.uk carries many a goodie, in the form of podcasts, videos, pictures, interviews and more, as well as information on all our future dates and events - so if you're at all confused about what's coming up check there.
ok, til next week,

| ROTTEN, HORRIBLE FUN....... |
[21 Nov 2006|02:45pm] |
hello everybody, first of all, thanks to faris rotter of the horrors for djing marvellously for us last night, and thanks to everyone who braved the cold and bus strike to get down last night. we hope you enjoyed your extra half hour of music, and found your ways safely and warmly back home!
next week our guest dj will be paul thomson of franz ferdinand, who will be playing in the lounge. please make sure you come down early to enjoy his set! the following weeks see us entertained by ronnie danzig and nadia ksaiba, and then we have the xmas party, woo hoo! also, don't forget, as mentioned last week, that there will be a trash on the 27th december, which is a wednesday, to compensate for the fact both xmas and new year fall on mondays and thus scupper our regular arrangements.
as always, check out www.trashclub.co.uk for lots of pictures, videos, interviews and more - new photos of simian mobile disco and faris rotter will be up on the site soon, as will video of brakes!
ok once again, that's it, see you next week

| ape-run travelling dance party cause huge knees up shocker! |
[14 Nov 2006|03:49pm] |
hello everyone,
thanks to all who came down last night and threw themselves about messily, and special thanks to the cause of much of that jumping and wobbliness, the marvellous simian mobile disco, our geust djs!
next week our guest dj is faris rotter of the horrors, who will be entertaining us in the lounge in rory's abscence, please make sure you get down early to hear his set!
as always, entry is a whole pound sterling cheaper if you arrive before 11pm.....
also, in the next few weeks we have paul thomson of franz ferdinand, ronnie danzig and nadia ksaiba coming to play guest sets for us, as well as our xmas party looming on the horizon like the drunken uncle it is......
now, due to an inconsiderate calender which has plonked both xmas and new year on mondays this year (and, technically, next) we will be holding a trash on wednesday the 27th december as well, so make sure you write it into your diaries so you don't turn up on xmas day expecting to party when you should be at home enjoying your new socks and listening to our wrinkly head of state address the nation....
the eyes of the forward looking face of janus also have their gaze firmly fixed on our tenth birthday party on january 7th, when we will be celebrating a decade of trash.......
an interview with recent trash live guests brakes is online now, visit the 'gallery' section of www.trashclub.co.uk and select 'interviews' to read...pictures of the gig are online, and video will follow shortly.....
and now, in employment news, we are looking for people to flyer for us in the four quarters of london, dropping flyers off in shops, bars, s.u's and gigs etc. if you would like to do some of this, and know the right places in your area to cover, then get in touch with fred@trashclub.co.uk.......
ok, that's it for today i think,

| gentlemen prefer blondes, the longer the better..... |
[07 Nov 2006|04:25pm] |
hello, firstly special thanks to the long blondes who came and dj'ed for us last night, to the delight of all who cut a rug to their superb bag of tunes - pics online soon! and of course thanks a lot to all the rug cutters themselves - that's you lot - for coming down and making the party happen! next week we have the ace and funky simian mobile disco playing a main room guest dj set, please make sure you arrive early for this.... as always, if you print out the poster for the gig at www.trashclub.co.uk and present it at the door, you can get a £1 discount, and if you arrive before 11pm it's only £5 to get in rather than £6 - so if you're early and have a printout you can get in for a bargain £4! make sense?
for details of all our forthcoming guests see our new flyer - in shops and at gigs now - or check www.trashclub.co.uk......
pictures of brakes set from a couple of weeks ago are online now as is an interview with the band, see the gallery section for both......
ok, short but sweet this week, see you all soon,

[31 Oct 2006|04:13pm] |
THRILLER NIGHTS
helloooooooooooo..........
well. we've never seen so many freaks in one place as we did last night at our halloween bash! god knows what happened to our usual crowwd, but a great number had obviously been handcuffed and thrown down a well, to be replaced by various ghouls, ghosts, skeletons, vampires, bloodied nurses, creepy clowns, zombies and hell things all fiendishly intent on having a ghastly shindig..... special mentions for little jim the mannequin, big jim and their skeletal escorts, who proved that even beardy puppets can rave with the best of them; to hair face man, a man with a face entirely covered in hair; to the girl who's head appeared to be in danger of sliding off her neck due to some unseemly axe wound; the young lady with scissorhands and shock-headed peter hair - and, of course, to matt, our doorman, who had managed to transform himself into a seven foot inflatable ghost. photos of some of these horrific reprobates can be seen on the excellent www.dirtydirtydancing.com website, which also has photos from several recent trashes!
thanks also to todd, who stood in for rory in the lounge last night, and played a fantastic set, dressed in what was easily the shiniest costume on display.....
now, next week the fabulous long blondes (yes all of them! ) will be playing a guest dj set for us, so make sure you turn up bright and early for that one...... the week after that, on the 13th nov, you can indulge your ears and feet with the long promised and now finally confirmed set from simian mobile disco! again, turn up early for what promises to be a great night...... the week after that, faris rotter of the horrors will be djing for us on the 20th, followed on the 27th by a guest slot from paul thomson of franz ferdinand.... and then into december when we will be entertained by guest appearances by ronnie danzig, nadia ksaiba and then at our xmas party, some old bugger in a red suit with a big beard and a bulging sack.........
we also should mention that on the 27th december, there will be a trash, even though it's a wednesday, cos some thoughtless idiot put xmas day and new years day on a monday this year and that kind of scuppers our arrangements. so pencil into your diaries now - that's the day after boxing day, trash, at the end, on a wednesday. got it?
details of all our forthcoming guests appear on the new flyer, currently doing the rounds, and featuring the lovely siouxsie sioux poking her head out from some curtains and having a grin, like you do. find it in some shops and outside some gigs!
if you haven't already then check out www.trashclub.co.uk for videos of our reecent guests including klaxons, archie bronson outfit, good shoes, bricolage, voxtrot and love is all.......
ok, fantastic sweeties, that's your lot for now!

| SLAM ON THE BRAKES, WE'RE OUT OF CONTROL! |
[24 Oct 2006|02:29pm] |
yeah! is probably the best way to sum up last night - first of all massive thanks to the excellent brakes who played an awsome show last night, seriously impressive stuff, if you missed them (wtf? why?) then check them out at the next available oppurtunity.yeah!.... with brakes having provided the perfect rockin' launch pad for the night, it was only natural for everyone to go bonkers for the rest of the evening, and my how ye did. 600 people spontaneously belting out the chourus to 'never be alone' and the 'woah oo woah oo wooooah ooooh' bit from 'standing in the way of control' whilst stamping out the beat rendered the actual records pretty tame - and we've got a system that goes to 120 db. you noisy buggers! also diggin' the fashion - to the ladies with glowstick sunglasses: yeah!
and so onwards..... coming up over the next few weeks we have a lovely bundle of guests to entertain and amuse, the line up looking something like this: 6th nov - the long blondes guest dj set! former trash live guests spin their vinyl niceties! 13th nov - simian mobile disco guest dj set! we.are.your friends! 20th nov - faris rotter guest dj set! the horrors main man hits the decks! 27th nov - paul thompson of franz ferdinand guest dj set! i want you to take me out - to trash, for a boogie! 4th dec - ronnie danzig guest dj set! get yer danzing shoes on! 11th dec - nadia ksaiba guest dj set! one of londons best dj's has her wicked way with our turntables! 18th dec - trash xmas party! ho ho ho, have you been naughty or nice? fuck it! we don't care! let's party!
nice huh? not a bad way to see out the year. carve these dates into your forehead, but remember to do the letters backwards so you can read it in the mirror........
and in news of guests past, videos of archie bronson outfit, bricolage, 10lec6, lo fi fnk, love is all, voxtrot, good shoes, holy hail and klaxons performing at the club are now (finally, sorry bout the wait!) online at www.trashclub.co.uk. just click on the 'watch' page and enjoy......
ok i think that's it for now, it's certainly enough to be getting on with, take care,

[17 Oct 2006|01:51pm] |
from atlantis to california..................
hey hey, thanks to all who came out last night, it certainly looked as if you had fun, so we hope you did! indeed, there was so much jolity in the air we had to give you two last songs - possibly an attempt to appease the rabid calls for britney! nsync! slayer! kasabian (arf, you wags)! - so hope you enjoyed the klaxons / beach boys coda.......
next week we have the fabulous brakes playing a live set for us in the lounge - they're onstage at 12pm so make sure you arrive early to catch them and their all night disco party....
as ever, if you do get down early (b4 11pm in fact) you will get let in for a whole pound cheaper than normal, and if you bring a print out of the poster for the gig (see the gallery on trashclub.co.uk) you will get a further pound off! so early arrival + poster = £4 entry!!! not bad eh.........
other forthcoming attractions are simian mobile disco djing on the 13th of november and a couple of other things that will have to remain under wraps until we've confirmed them.......
um, you all seem to have got the hang of the id thing, so well done there, but if you and your friends are new to the club just worth a mention that our security are obliged to check id with anyone they feel appears under 18, and can't let in anyone who doesn't have it. so please bring passport / driving licence / portman id card with you cos otherwise you could be making a long trip for nothing, and we wouldn't want that......
that's all the news for now, pretty much the same news as last week, i know........
take care of yourselves

| hanky panky........ |
[10 Oct 2006|03:09pm] |
hanky panky....................... hello,
well once again, thanks a lot to all who came out last night to the club, to boogie, drink, cavort merrily, laugh, cry and, in the case of two amourous scallywags, become very well acquainted on a sofa. veeeeeeeeery well acquainted..........
excellent stuff, all proof of your irrepresible youth and high spirits, your vim, vigour and joie de vivre.....as was the addition of a small army of tissue wavers round the dj box. tissue guy has been recruiting, and it is surely only a matter of time before the nation is united in a hanky waggling frenzy.....
as you all probably know by now, the next live guest we will be welcoming into our musical bosom is the magnificent brakes who will be playing on the 23rd Oct, which is in about two weeks time, pencil into your diaries, alongside the words 'arrive early and dress up!'. and after nigh on a year of being filed under 'date tbc' we are very happy to announce that simian mobile disco will be djing for us on 13th Nov - again stick it in your diary! and as we said last week, there are more acts in the pipeline, watch this space!
with all band nights, if you print out the poster from www.trashclub.co.uk and present it at the door you will get a whole pound off the entry fee! and whilst we're on the subject, thanks to marie harimoto for the excellent brakes poster!
and that basically is that for the time being, new news as it occurs!
take care o' yourselves

| it ain't hip to have hep.......... |
[03 Oct 2006|02:35pm] |
it ain't hip to have hep.......... hello, well once again thankks to all who came down last night which in some loose way was meant to educate you about hepatitis c, which is doing the rounds like an infectious milkman (you don't want it, so if you're being naughty and/or stupid, be naughty and/or stupid with your own banknote rammed up your nostril, and not the snotty and blood encrusted fiver being offered you by 'dirty' dave the dealer ). if you get hep c your internal organs will melt, especially your liver. true. thanks to everyone who donated money to this cause last night. and in dress code news: we particularly enjoyed the guy with a (fake!) dogs head on his head (or it could have been a bear, either way, it was pretty cool).
ok, now we hate to bring you down, but shitdisco have had to cancel their appearance in a few weeks, sorry bout that......however the excellent brakes will still be performing for us that evening, huzzah! oh, which evening? the 23rd oct.......
as mentioned last week, the next additions to our live roster are currently being confirmed, and a new flyer bearing all the details of forthcoming liveness will be flung at you from street corners soon enough.......
also, if you haven't already, check out the more-awsome-than-a-hotdog videos of various bands doing their thang at trash now all over youtube including but not limited to: klaxons, archie bronson outfit, good shoes and voxtrot.......

[16 May 2006|05:08pm] |
hello there trash people,
thanks to all of you who came out last night, as always we hope you enjoyed yourselves.there's not much to report, but i did see a man trying to breakdance to the b52s in the corner. he wasn't bad at it, though his moves mainly consisted of adopting a funky quadrapedal gait and chucking his arse in the air every few seconds. anyways, if it was you, respek. and to all our student patrons currently mired in the swamp of revision and/or exam/essay misery, we hope it's all going relatively painlessly, and look forward to seeing you when your careers as gangbusting lawyers are secured.
now on to news of our forthcoming live attractions...... the new flyer is out and about, possibly nestling in your handbag or pocket right now, and features the lovely grace slick of jefferson airplane giving a lovely finger to the world of straights and squares. and seeing as it carries the full listing of bands for june, there ain't much point in holding back on who they are any more, so here's the line up:
june 5th: good shoes! june 12th: holy hail! june 19th: archie bronson outfit! june 26th: bricolage!
so there they are. all gauranteed to be great nights, please pencil in to your diaries alongside the words: 'i must remember to get there early tonight'.... now, as mentioned last week, we were due to have brace from the gossip come and dj next week, but despite what it says on the website, he has had to cancel his appearance. very sorry if you were looking forward to this........
we still need someone to design a poster for the archie bronson outfit gig, so if you are interested please email fred@trashclub.co.uk and we will give you 'the brief', and boy is it brief (basically make a poster involving the words archie bronson outfit live at trash). it's a first come first served kind of deal, so get on it if you're interested.
ok, that's about it for the time being, take care of your good selves,

[02 May 2006|04:02pm] |
hello people of the world,
aye, from the damp environs of atlantis to the frankly tenuous realities of interzone, people and things from all across the universe poured into the club last night like a gravitational rainbow to witness the stunning klaxons show what happened on a stage in a room....a full on orgy of neon bracelets, glowsticks, flashing whistles, punky thrash and rave bleeps culminating in a heroic i-don't-give-a-fuck-if-it-cuts-me-up leap of guitarist through mid air into drum kit, crash, bang, wallop, ouch, cheer. klaxons, thank you. krowd, thankyou too.
and rollup, roll up, for newly added to our billboard of forthcoming attractions is a dj set by members of the gossip, which will be on the 22nd may. other highlights of our inimitable circus include the following: 5th june - a really good band, we can't say who but we'll let you know nearer the time...plus bearded lady! 12th june - rory faves holy hail play a live set for us...plus acrobat! 19th june - another band we're keeping under wraps for a while, wait for the new flyer...plus clown troupe! 26th june - bricolage come and do their live thing....plus lion tamer!
so that's the shape of things to come for the next couple of months. looks good huh? the shape of things just been looks pretty cool too, if you direct yourselves to the watch page of www.trashclub.co.uk, for there you will find new videos of liars, numbers and shy child all captured live at the club earlier this year, the gallery carries stills of these shows too.....
more podcasts are in the pipeline, to access the current crop of dj sets from our residents and guests, as well as archived radio shows simply click here . .
trash radio 26 is still streaming online click here for fat connection and here for skinny connection. you need realplayer to access the show, which you can get for free from www.real.com
mr daltrey has paid his pixelated dues, and there will be a new flyer in circulation very soon. like, next week or something.
ok no more news for now. take care and see you soon,

[25 Apr 2006|02:50pm] |
hello!
ok!
heat!
of the whirlwind kind!
yes yes - we had the rather excellent whirlwind heat down last night, and they played a great set, complete with freaky fresh dance moves and some ultra fast drumming! many thanks to the three of them! next week we welcome the equally fantastic klaxons who will be putting on a show that will require you to come down armed to the teeth with all manner of rave accessories and display a willingness to go mental, mental, radio rentals. can't wait.
coming up in the very near future, we have shows from bricolage, good shoes and a guest dj set from simian mobile disco - dates will be announced soon, so keep your eyes peeled, you wouldn't want to miss out, right?
online goodliness is still available in the form of www.trashclub.co.uk which carries it's usual assortment of videos, pictures, interviews, charts and stuff for your delight and pleasure. the podcast series is also still running, if you want to get them follow the links in previous journal entries or from the website. also, by the same method, you can listen to trash internet radio 26.
if you're getting bored of the roger daltrey flyer (aye, it's him) then fear not, a new flyer is on the way soon. also the popular poster for the klaxons gig is online in the gallery, so if you haven't managed to thieve one from under our noses at the club yet, then print it out fo' yo' sel'!
ok that's just about it for this week, it's time to polish your whistle and put some shine on your (glow) stick in time for the klaxons.....
bye!

Whirlwind Heat, Klaxons, ?????, all playing at trash soon! plus other news! again!
hello,
hope you're all jubbly this morning. afternoon. i am now pretty sure that it really is spring, that it has sprung - i saw at least two trees with buds on today, and a couple of animals trying to do it to each other, so that's official in my book, and would explain the severe amount of rutting going on in shady corners of our otherwise salubrious establishment last night. now wipe yourselves down and, people, get ready for all the news we gave you last week, plus some new news beamed in from the future especially for you, here, now. right :
we are soon to embark on a few weeks of extraordinary live shenanigans chez trash, and it look-sees like this - on the 17th april, which for those with faulty calenders is NEXT WEEK, we welcome the ????? who are not an artsy fartsy !!! style punctuation band but a coded name for our secret special guests (hint: all girl band!), who should surprise and delight you - doors will be at 10pm sharp, please arrive early for this to avoid disappointment. some of you wily little tykes know who it is already, so if you do, only tell people in a collars up, hat brim down, meet me on a bridge at midnight, cold war spy type of way. thankyou. or txt them.
the following week on the 24th april, which for those with faulty calenders is IN A FORTNIGHT we say 'hello' and maybe 'alright?' to whirlwind heat, who return for their second show at the club. again, arrive early to minimize entry sorrows.
the week after that, on the 1st may, which for those with faulty calenders is IN THREE WEEKS, we will be putting on a reet pagan party in celebration of mayday, when we will be entertained by the rather amazing klaxons. bring some glowsticks, and get your maypole on.
we also have, in the further future, a load of other rillycool bands coming to play shows at the club, all not to be missed, stay tuned to this, admittedly static and inauditory, channel for more news on these!
our lovely online child and companion, www.trashclub.co.uk, carries new interviews with the boys from whirlwind heat and the klaxons, who have all got things to say about stuff, online now - select interviews from the 'gallery' menu to see them......
pictures of shychild's gig in march are online now, and pics of numbers' gig are coming as soon as the man at boots gets his arse in gear. also coming soon are videos of the shychild, numbers and liars gigs. these are late cos martin scorsese is taking his time crafting them into a rockumentary sure to eclipse his dylan epic of last year and he is having trouble getting joan baez to do her talking head piece without breaking into wobbly falsetto folk renditions of underground US rock. and if you believe that then good, it's true.
can you guess what's coming next? yep, that's right and here are the links -
subscribe me to trash podcasts! i want this james murphy fellas set in my ears as well as other things involving bands and djs. thanks.

we have ace new posters for all our gigs, all fresh from the brains of various dudes who have skills in the visual area. dudes, your names are tim cowlishaw, daniel haskett and adam pobiak - thanks! the posters can be viewed in the posters section of the pictures gallery.

[04 Apr 2006|02:32pm] |
hello,
nice to see you all last night, hope you had a good time. especially nice to see mavs again, and to have rory back from the states, where he has picked up a cowboy hat that plays the theme to dallas whilst plastic donkeys gallop mechanically round the rim. it makes him look well buff on the decks, proper classy like. and the lying-down-dance girls were back in, except this time it was all about the headstands and how you could preserve your modesty when your skirt's hanging over your face. the answer? - tights! look and learn people....
so here's the list of who's coming to play live for us in the near future:
apr 17 - secret special guests apr 24 - whirlwind heat may 1 - klaxons
interviews with whirlwind heat and klaxons are online now! check 'em out!
podcasts are still there if you want them, the latest addition has been james murphy's set from valentines day 2005. click here to subscribe to the trash podcast series. trash radio 26 is still streaming, with live tracks from comanechi and hot chip, click here if you got a fat connection and here if you've got a skinny connection.
we have a new flyer doing the rounds - it's in the 'who's that?' vein of the morrissey and syd barret ones so answers on a postcard to j m building supplies, 43-84 newgreen road, bexley grange, surrey.
um. um um um. that's it.
bye then!
